      No. Just the magic number of child deaths to make them give a “heartfelt” statement to the press. TX republicans will wait for this to die down, look the other way, then fight every “crazy money wasting” dem that wants to actually do something about it. And all the republican voters will have long forgotten this tragedy. They’ll be too busy foaming at the mouth over some other trumped up bullshit issue while someone else’s kids continue to die because of the policies they continue to support.

    It’s crazy that he voted against it the first time. It floods a lot in that area. It’s not the first major flood his area is experienced by a long shot.

    Using government money to help citizens is wasteful. The money needs to go to corporations and me.
