I haven’t seen anyone encouraging or even so much as hinting that a copycat should target police or courts. Feels like something made up to try to drive a wedge between the bipartisan support by splintering off “back the blue” type of people.
It should be lower. This incident really put a spotlight on their claims denial rate being the highest in the industry, twice as high as industry average. A lot of customers will probably be leaving but that hit won’t happen until later when the next billing cycle comes.
Hunter individually didn’t really deserve a pardon for tax offenses but I can understand it. Hopefully since we’re going full fuck it mode with presidential powers Biden can do something much more deserving of the powers like removing marijuana as a controlled substance and pardoning non-violent marijuana felons.
Most of the reporters I follow for sports/news have joined bluesky but not mastodon. At this point I think Bluesky is going to win the bulk of twitter exodus in the end and Mastodon will remain extremely niche.
I wonder how recent semaglutide (ozempic, wegovy, etc) will affect this. It’s just come into mainstream recently and it seems like it actually does have positive outcomes for weight loss and addiction. When availability increases and eventual price comes down with patent expiration in the next decade we might see a huge change in this data.

Super interesting. The guy claims is wasn’t just ai, that he performed alterations as well. If that’s true but he still gets shot down it might pave the way for AI being much more shunned in the world out of IP concerns on the output side rather than the training data.
You can’t copyright that music, game, book, screenplay or video because AI made some contribution.
- Take dog that’s not well trained to a pheasant hunt.
- Get mad at dog for not being a well-trained pheasant hunting dog.
- Realize you don’t have enough cages to take all the dogs back safely. Leave the untrained dog in the back of your truck hoping it jumps out and dies or runs away because you’re mad at it.
- Stop by a friend with chickens. OMG the untrained dog that was left unsecured in the back of your truck that you’ve been teaching to hunt birds has killed some chickens.
- Shoot the dog because you’re angry.
- Shoot a goat as well because you’re already on a rampage and hate it too.
The Kristi Noem one, when I heard the news I assumed it was just unavoidable farm life type of shit. Like the dog got rabies or seriously injured and putting it down was just the right thing to do…
Then I read the story and holy hell that woman shot a perfectly healthy dog out of spite. South Dakota has animal shelters, Kristi, you psycho.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the station, one of the teens reported hearing Metz say “Oh s—, my gun just went off” after the shooting.
The kids did trespass by hopping a fence, I’m guessing his defense is going to be he was just trying to hold them there for police but accidentally discharged his weapon into a kids face. The fuckwit is really lucky the kid lived.
I can’t understand the idiotic appeal of inserting yourself into these situations when the police are already on the way and there’s no danger to yourself to just waiting and letting them handle it.
