I’m not American. Maybe my opinion also comes from a place of not understanding how government works in the US. But in 2020, Biden won the Presidency and the Democrats had control of the House and the Senate. Yet, they had a harder time of reversing Trump’s policies than he had pushing them through. Let alone not even trying to enact progressive policies.

As an outside observer, maybe that’s why people have lost faith in the Democratic party.

If they plead guilty to avoid being sentenced to death are they actually guilty?

You can be sympathetic to the plight of the hostages and be against Zionism and the Gazan genocide at the same time.

Does Hamas exist in a vacuum? No. Does that justify kidnapping hundreds of civilians? No. Does that justify the murder of thousands? Also no.

We’re focusing on him using a homophobic slur, but we’re ignoring what the meeting was about: that he doesn’t want gay men in the priesthood.

This makes sense. It’s also a lot easier to drop a bomb on the faceless brown people half a world away. It takes real hate to beat up an unarmed person by yourself.

This is the hatred they have for Americans. Now imagine what they have directed at Palestinians.

The difference between these cowards and a whistleblower say at Boeing is that the whistleblowers go public regardless of the consequences. The kids protesting Israeli actions are putting their careers and futures on the line - a lot of them are being arrested and booked for what they’re doing.
