The cyclists around where I am ignore stop signs and lights. I’ve seen some that will get to a red light, take a right without stopping. Immediately take a u turn less that 30 feet from the intersection. Then take another right without stopping.
I’m not convinced that criminalizing them is the correct answer. Ideally we would just build real bike infrastructure and public transit. Less cars on the road is also probably a lot safer for cyclists and pedestrians.
I would support something that gets other cyclists to stop breaking the law. Running stop signs and red lights is dangerous for no fucking reason. I’m not sure if this is the right way though.
Maybe we should give them license plates and ban the flock cameras. Two birds, one stone.
So if you are a passing trans woman you either:
A. Risk retribution from the law and use the women’s bathroom.
Or
B. Follow the law and get called out for being a women in the men’s bathroom.
This law really just criminalizes using the bathroom if you are not 100% heteronormative.
Might as well just go back to poodle skirts and khakis.
I see many people disparaging the family. Saying that this is what they get for voting for trump. (unconfirmed, people are using them encouraging others to vote as reasoning to call them Trump supporters… Which is so awful and hypocritical.)
I hope people can remind themselves that these are real people with real lives, dreams, and concerns. No parent should have to bury their child no matter who they are.
Please also remember that service members are not given a choice to opt out of a specific president. For all we know the service member could have been the most stout democratic supporter.

The bike lock bandit. He ended up being an ethics teacher at a college and got fired for beating people with a bike lock. We just need that sort of investigation here.
