CEO pay should be a % of total employee compensation. Want to earn more? Gotta raise pay or benefits for all other employees. Need to lay people off? Do what you need to do but you made the pie smaller so your compensation goes down.

If you mean why do Americans have such hard times acquiring an ID? Well, that’s by design, because a very powerful minority hate democracy. There’s probably millions of people that live over an hour away from the nearest ID issuing office and/or their closest office is open only a few hours a week (yes, per week). There’s also plenty of instances of people being unable to sufficiently “prove” they are who they say they are because they don’t have their own birth certificate and can’t afford to buy it.

We’re barely even a Republic anymore and we were probably never a Democracy.

At work I was recently told to watch a “training video” about AI that was made entirely with AI. Nobody seemed to get the irony of a video, made for humans, more or less made by an AI, on why you should use a different AI (we don’t have access to the video making tools). We’re basically gaslighting ourselves.

You can pull your kid out of school and teach them yourself. Otherwise fuck off.
