Fan of breaking echo chambers by being devils advocate. Other than that, centrist. As in in USA I’d be considered left.

    1. It puts legitimacy behind their statements. You are no longer discussing with an internet no-name weirdo, the person you are writing with has a name and face.
    2. They weild authority in the field or bear respect assigned to them and are thus using it…or simply used to writing under their name due to that.
    3. They’re one of “I have nothing to hide” folks. And I don’t mean surveilence apologists - I mean folk who have such weirdly strong ego (without being egoists. At least most of the time) that their belief in who they are is unshakeable. They tend to rawdog the world.

Some combination of the three above is most common in my perspective.

  • False. We are only able to perceive what we experience, and by extension, what we experience is what we call “The Present” or “now”. Sensory delay thus plays no role, other than shifting personal “present” a bit forward or backward. What doesn’t change is that we all only exist at the present. What does change is that present == present but present !== present.

    1. if image is generated, it ain’t a photo
    2. People abuse AI. Fakeness was a problem already before, now it becomes norm.
    3. Everywhere I go, everywhere I look, I get someone trying to deepthroat me with LLM. I have quite honestly enough and I am opposing it both out of pettines and to - together with other folk - force it to calm down.
    4. …and lastly, what do I care about someones inane ramblings towards pixel generator? There’s nothing original in it, there’s no soul, there’s no feelings and no personal touches. Fuck that.

Overall tho, I am not even that much against AI as it is now. What pisses me off is overeliance on it coupled with it worsening already shitty dead internet. People are growing dumber, authenticity dies in some forgotten corner of the net, real life relations that bunch of years ago sprouted over the internet today would have no chance. And all that for glorified, glazing statistics machine.

I am amazed by people willing to cook soups constantly. Mostly because it’s such a long process compared to just throwing shit in the pan, or even throwing shit in the oven. :|

I also hate cooked meat due to it’s texture, but that’s on me xD

FFS I hate that. “Religion poisons everything” no! No it doesn’t! Think if christianity wasn’t a thing they wouldn’t find something else to twist? After all it’s not like any other good thing got twisted, no? Communism, patriotism, charity, heck, even local communities?

Christianity says: Do not do to others what you don’t want done upon yourself. No matter if sinner or faithful, treat all with respect (nagging about becoming christian is ok tho, sadly). Do not fall for greed, lust or pride.

American “Christians” aren’t Christians, same like most of the local Patriots are actually Nationalists and Communism is mostly used as a another tool for simply stealing power.

I know I am pretty much shaking my fist at the sky here, sorry, but I really needed to let it out ._.

Edit: I don’t have much time - sorry - so I will say it here.

    • Christianity has defined core tenets - the ten commandments. If you routinely not follow them, you’re not chrisitian, you’re a blasphemer/sinner (if you considered yourself christian in the first place), case closed. So stop with the “No True Scotsman” fallacy, because at this point it’s fallacy fallacy.
    • Another thing - some of you all mentioned that Christianity has various differences and all that. True. And honestly good catch. If Americans didn’t break the core tenets.
    • And last thing, someone mentioned pedo priests. Yes, I believe they shouldn’t be considered christians and in the spirit of the faith they should, at best, be considered lost lambs. But there’s a difference between Church as in Community and Church as in Institution, and the latter one likes to shield it’s buddies, which is disgusting.

Best of all, I don’t think I am even christian. xD

  • Don’t give a flying fuck my friend - I will continue to call bullshit. Stop calling them christians - they’re heretics by definition, openly defying the teachings. Also, fallacy fallacy my friend, even if I used “No True Scotsman” - which doesn’t even apply here because being a Christian does have requirements they don’t follow so there’s no redefining here - that doesn’t mean I am wrong.

Call them heretics/heathens openly. I can bet my ass that would hurt ^^
