Having said that, people keep misunderstanding that photo. I thought the same thing, “Completely obvious it’s photoshopped.” But that’s been a miscommunication. Trump thinks it’s actually on his knuckles. Someone was trying to decode the symbols (Marijuana Leaf = M, Smile = S, Cross = 1, I don’t remember the 3).

I don’t want these people to have any inch. I think that man is innocent and should return. But I can see what argument they were trying to make, in all fairness to generally incompetent people.

Hey, the second state pastime is giving the finger and yelling in traffic. We take these pastimes seriously, like sports and drinking.

Both of them are idols for me: they were enigmatic musicians who defined themselves and loved by the world for doing it. They bucked against fashion trends. They spoke openly about their views.

This shit is so backwards. People are getting blackmailed competitively by this guy in broad daylight. I know it died long ago, but it was the death of liberty when we introduced MTX/P2W politics—fuck Citizens United.

The math here is the sort of thing that drives apathy for me to make small incremental changes. If the superrich can dump ~250 avg. emission years over the course of a year, why should I do anything besides lobby against this mode of transport or other large consumers? Maybe it’s a “spirit of the thing,” but changes in my life seem so negligible compared to how ruinous some individuals are acting.

Does every single human need to be put into neat little categories without any grey room at all? It’s always good vs evil! Yeah! Exactly how life works! No complexity! 🙃
