I don’t want to toss a bunch of EV’s (even bad ones) in a landfill prematurely just because the CEO is a fascist.

This is a fair point but I would say specifically for the Cybertrucks that it might be best to salvage the batteries and electronics and scrap the rest. They’re built so poorly when I come across one while driving at speed on the road I either hurry up to pass it or slow down and let it get well ahead.

If Nader was going to write a sequel it would be about the Cybertruck.

Assuming the US lasts long enough I’d imagine there’s two potential outcomes:

1. Enough people will have grown up facing gun violence, school shooter drills etc. that there’ll finally be enough people to effect change.

2. With any luck all the gun nuts end up shooting each other allowing the rest to live in relative peace.

It’s out of control. I drive a 2019 Kona and I moved to that from my 2013 Elantra. Last time I was at the dealer was looking at the new Konas and they’re bigger, too big for me.

And they should.
