  • How is it only 62%?! Who actually looks at their medical bill and thinks, “Yep, this is accurate and absolutely worth every penny”? I have health insurance, and I still avoid going to the doctor unless I’m practically dying because I simply can’t afford it.

And yet, I’m stuck paying nearly $10k a year for insurance—just in case something catastrophic happens—only to still face massive copays, out-of-pocket costs, and coverage denials. It’s completely counterintuitive.

    The system is broken.

    Screw the insurance industry.
Screw the state of medical care in the U.S.

Healthcare shouldn’t be a privilege—it’s a human right. Normalize that.

  • When you’re crazy busy in the kitchen (of a crappy restaurant), you sandbag. Meaning you prepare extra food than is needed because you know the order is coming so you’re cooking in anticipation of the next order. If by “surge pricing” they would discount during the chaos, they’d probably make more money. I haven’t been to Wendy’s in quite a while but when I saw the story break a few days ago I said to myself “I’m completely done, fuck those greedy assholes”

  • DeSantis has to be a marketing major. The dude is the ultimate panderer. He understands the people of his state and shifts every movement towards their appeasement. All except the state’s populace. He understands the county count for votes and says to himself fuck the cities and the people in favor of the rednecks and MAGA-otts.

Anti-communism warnings to the Cubans and Venezuelans and you win the south. Pro-KKK and you win the north. Some Werther’s caramels and you win the center.

Before you think it, I don’t think he’s a good person. I think he’s an absolute shithead. I just applaud the stupidity of where my parents live.

(Fun fact, I had sane parents….until they moved to Florida, now we barely on speaking terms)
