The Trump administration already interfered by getting Tate released from jail in Romania. Pam Bondi is already publicly corrupt. Tate has become a political liability for Trump and there’s a clear motive for his administration to put him away. I have more than enough probable cause to be suspicious here.

That’s a ridiculous question. A person who leaves a penny as a tip did give more than a person who left no tip at all, but you’re mad that they aren’t being praised for that penny? Or are you arguing that a penny is significant? Sanctioning just 7 people while continuing to arm and fund hundreds of thousands of illegal settlers who are openly committing violence and obstructing peace is useless and frankly more insulting than any actual help.

We all know Trump is bad. We lived through it. I was in Palestine while Trump was in office. It was grim. But if Netanyahu had decided to actually go through with his cabinet’s open talk of cleaning out Gaza, Biden would have publicly defended him and gone along with it, because he refused to ever criticize Netanyahu in public. Obama actually proposed meaningful sanctions on Israelis and Biden privately argued against them and as VP he publicly undermined Obama on the issue. That’s not an appreciable improvement over Trump who just says the bigoted and extreme stuff out loud and is functionally the same.

Biden sanctioned only 7 settlers. Not 7 per illegal settlement, or 7 per day, 7 settlers in total. In the first 9 months of 2023 before the war, settlers killed over 240 Palestinians and set 3 West Bank towns on fire, and it’s on video with the IDF standing by and not intervening. Prosecutors decline to prosecute any Israeli settlers despite the evidence.

A stupid weak policy that did nothing as Israel complained and Biden cut the sanctions down to 5 people after the settlers sued him, then Trump reversed it. That was your evidence of what exactly? Biden being useless? It’s the equivalent of leaving a penny as a tip. You’re going to argue it counts as something useful?

Biden should go down in history as a pathetic president on this issue.

That’s not evidence. I don’t see any mention of how Biden got Netanyahu to cave on anything. If anything it appears Trump got him to agree to the plan that Hamas already agreed to back in May.

Biden praised and hugged Netanyahu in public, but if you want me to believe he was harsh on him in private, show me what secret “behind the scenes” action made it worth it to allow Netanyahu to publicly insult Biden and make the US look complicit in war crimes. Did it prevent escalation of the war or bombing of Lebanon? No. Did it force Israel to stop bombing Gaza hospitals? Did it force Israel to publicly hold soldiers to account for war crimes? Nope. Did he force both sides into a ceasefire or get hostages with American citizenship back? NO. Literally every one of Biden’s publicly stated Israel-Palestine policies failed.

Turnout was shockingly low compared to 2020, partly because both candidates had such an ugly unappealing stance on Gaza, and Dearborn wound up splitting their vote between Harris and Stein, giving Trump a mild plurality. Harris didn’t call for a ceasefire. She called for both sides to voluntarily stop fighting and negotiate between themselves and that the US/Biden should do absolutely nothing at all to pressure Israel into making that ceasefire happen, while at the same time exerting maximum pressure on Palestinians to just surrender with zero guarantees of food or safety. In fact, she gave speeches that her support of Israel is unshakeable and they’ll give Israel whatever it needs, despite the majority of Americans in polling saying they favor conditioning military aid to Israel and Ukraine. She had a solid year of not just polling data but evidence that Biden’s policy was a failure and not just unpopular, and she just insisted on repeating his mistake. It’s like if a pilot is nosediving a plane and then a new pilot takes over but decides to keep flying exactly the same despite everyone telling to stop.

There’s people in my community who lost relatives in Gaza. I’ve been to their funerals. Their families will tell you, “Trump didn’t kill my family, Biden did.” Please tell me how I could convince them to put that aside and vote for Biden anyway. We tried, despite Biden’s speeches on the topic making it harder and harder since he decided to twist that knife in deeper and deeper by giving such helpful speeches saying that he doesn’t trust Palestinians or that Israel has not committed any war crimes.

In the end, Harris got far more votes in my community than Trump did, but it didn’t make any difference since Trump won by a margin bigger than all the voters in my community.
