Ah, yes, the parole they might receive when the parole board reviews their case in [checks watch] 80-100 years.

No, I’m using it properly. You’re just not used to hearing it used to criticize leftist positions, but it can be. I understand new things can be hard for some people though.
Right, because the system occasionally gets things wrong and displays corruption, we should never ever sentence serial rapists and murders to anything more than 10 years in prison.
Fucking reactionary morons.
Good. As an American, I say we need this. We have shown the world our cowardly, ignorant stripes by electing Donald Trump as our president for the second time, after witnessing the shit-show of his first term; clearly, we have not learned our lesson. We deserve to be abandoned by our allies for how our chosen president is treating them.
I’m not ashamed, as I voted for Kamala against Trump, but clearly too many of my countrymen need a wake-up call.
I agree. This is just intended to cause civil unrest to distract from everything else they’re doing to tear America apart.
But also, Musk is a Nazi.
“I prayed on it and God told me to say something that goes against everything I’ve stated I believe in. So, yeah.”
Days later, the Silvers said they received their son’s medical records, which showed less than two weeks before his death, Biruk told his therapist twice that he was suicidal and had a plan – similar to the way he died. Katy said she couldn’t believe what she was reading. Katy emailed his therapist, asking, “You spoke to me every day. I called you every day. How could you not tell me?” She told KSL she received no response.
I work in mental health and that’s pretty much grounds for having your license suspended. Along with all the other investigations into this organization, it’s hard to justify why they should be allowed to continue to operate.
ITT: a lot of dumb, presumptuous comments that completely miss the legal point of the case.
That being: should majority groups (e.g. Whites, men, heterosexuals, etc) have to provide a greater amount of evidence to prove they’re being discriminated against than minority groups.
But no, forget about that. Just call the plaintiff a worthless Karen, completely ignoring the fact that employers regularly choose arbitrary reasons for firing people or denying them promotions which have nothing to do with their actual reasons for doing so.
“Maybe if they weren’t trying to do their jobs, I’d have some sympathy!” LOL.
For me, it’s on a case by case basis. True, you do have some sociopathic cops out there who just enjoy harassing and assaulting people, and they need to be put in prison. But you also have cops that are just trying to do their jobs and have to deal with some unreasonable and violent members of the population. They deserve the right to protect themselves and the public.
Your suggestion that all cops use violence because they want to hurt people just demonstrates prejudice on your part, and is good grounds for me to dismiss your opinion completely.
On Oct. 16, 2023, Mr. Cure, 53, was traveling to his home outside of Atlanta, Ga., after visiting his mother in South Florida, when Sergeant Aldridge stopped him on Interstate 95, not far from the state line.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office said that Mr. Cure was pulled over for driving more than 100 miles per hour in a 70 m.p.h. zone. It later released camera footage of the encounter, showing Mr. Cure saying that he had done nothing wrong and pulling his arm away from the deputy.
After Sergeant Aldridge told Mr. Cure that he was being arrested because of speeding and reckless driving, they continued to argue and Mr. Cure refused to put his hands behind his back, according to the footage.
The footage also showed the deputy using his Taser on Mr. Cure. The two struggled, with their arms wrapped around each other. The footage shows Mr. Cure grabbing the deputy’s face, pushing his head and body back and cursing at him, while Sergeant Aldridge hit him with a baton. The sergeant then shot Mr. Cure.
As much as I think police brutality is a problem, particularly for racial minorities, my sympathy drops substantially when people engage in violent resistance to arrest. You make yourself a danger to officers, you make them defend themselves and the public via whatever means necessary. Not saying reasonable force considerations don’t apply, but if you get violent, don’t be surprised when violence is used against you.
That judge is about to get investigated.
In another message where St. Clair attempted to reconcile the dispute with Musk, the tech entrepreneur mostly ignored her message but said, “we do have a legion of kids to make.”
Elon Musk, one of the richest men in the world, behaving like a welfare queen.
It’s often the first step in getting yourself out of a deep depression. The feeling of accomplishment can sometimes create enough momentum that you start creating healthy habits for yourself. Don’t knock taking that first step; it’s the hardest.
Good. This would have set an incredibly dangerous precedent for future administrations. The law should be amended; the governor shouldn’t have that kind of power in the first place.
So sad to see so many short-sighted, foaming at the mouth lemmings ITT. Not surprised, just sad.
My face! The leopards! The goggles! They do nothing!
“Violence is only bad when it’s against people I like.”
Dumbfuck.
I would say he should probably do 30 days in jail. Letting him off without time seems to not send enough of a message that assaulting children is a serious offense.
I understand. I was mainly just making a joke.
