It was pretty eye-opening when I was in Germany and Austria a couple years ago and heard people parroting the EXACT right-wing taking points I hear in the States.

So the press is telling the world that this violent whackjob’s neighbor wore a wire and got him arrested. Now they’re letting him back out into the world for a couple grand.

What could go wrong?

The only surprising part of any of this is that this asshole apologized to her neighbor.

My work magically got a supply of N95 masks early in Covid. It was unexpected, so we didn’t have a plan or a system for them. Didn’t think to have a limit or anything.

Or when they beat up an old man for getting on a bus with a golf club he was using as a walking stick.

Or when they beat up a guy while yelling “I’m gonna beat the Mexican piss out of you”

Or when they shoot a native dude in the back from 20 feet away because he had a small knife.

I’m not going to give Seattle PD the benefit of the doubt. They have a long history of violent abuse, especially towards minorities.

It’s the classic problem. Democrats can’t get anything done, Republicans get the wrong thing done. Been that way as long as I can remember.

The leadership at SPOG is about as bad a it gets in big cities. Look at anything that Mike Solan has done in his career, but especially look into his words and actions around the BLM riots and CHOP. It’s fucking embarrassing that a city of our caliber has a police force of their caliber.
