Considering how politically active he is, he might become a politician (even running for president?). A lot of people will care about this if suddenly Elon musk appears in American ballots.
EDIT: I just remembered that Elon cannot run for USA president. But idk if other political positions are open.
And seeing how trump can break every law, I don’t see what would prevent Elon from running for president.

Profits are always a risk-reward balance. If the risk goes up (druglords are more likely to be killed) but the price doesn’t, then the market goes away.
Most likely they would just up the prices and use the new profits to buy weapons to defend themselves though.

Every currency’s value is “potential to convince others to do labor for you”, that doesn’t make fiat different, it would be a chicken and egg problem otherwise.
The value of a currency is “what makes people want to accept this currency?”. The answer is taxes. You live in a state. That state requires you to pay taxes in a currency (or set of currencies). Doesn’t matter how much gold you have, if you want to keep your house in country X, you have to pay it for property taxes in a currency that that state accepts, otherwise that state’s police will revoke your ownership of the property.
States have a monopoly of violence, therefore currencies have value because it’s the only way to preserve your ownership of property via taxes.
As a dog owner, I wish this happened in my city. Every time I walk the dog I have to be extremely careful not to step on other dog’s shit.
One time my GF was walking the dog wearing sandals and stepped on a dogshit. The owner of the dogshit approached her and told her “How dare you walk on sandals here, dogs shit here”, he later said “I’m a very good dog owner, I always carry a bag with me” (I guess to pick up the shit if police is nearby) “But I don’t like picking up the dog’s shit, it’s nasty”.
People just suck.

Housing and concerts are orders of magnitude apart in “importantness”. All of the items above are not needed to live. A home is needed.
