I am not working in the states. I am working in a city where the average salary is 3000€, and rent is 25/sq.m. or ~2.3€/sq.f. and mind you in other places rent/salary is even higher like in Lisbon, which is popular expat and tourists destination

You know, the ruling class doesn’t want us to be able to afford buying our own places and eventually retiring early. They want us working till we die.

Not only Americans. Pretty much the whole West, especially people who were unlucky not to buy their own places. My rent is 1600, without bills, my projected rent is 2500. And mind you, I am well above the average.

I have zero trust that when it is time for me to retire I will have money to pay my rent, bills and have something left for food. Because my rent will also increase in price and also the inflation will be 40-60% higher. It is really f****d up situation.

I think we are every year getting small sneak peeks of what’s to come and we still ignore the warnings nature is giving us and we are strictly focused on the short term growth.

Just look what just happened in Dubai, they had 256mm of rain in one day, while their annual rain rate is 96. That’s 2.5x more than the annual in just one day. And I am sure this caused a lot of financial damage to businesses and also the government

I don’t need the exact numbers to know how bad the situation is. I have a couple of questions for you:

• Do you agree that the civilian casualties on the Palestinian side far exceed those on the Israeli part?
• Do you agree that a large chunk of the population in Gaza is displaced and currently living in makeshift tents?
• Do you agree that there is an ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza?
• Do you agree that there is increased violence and imposed restrictions in the West bank by the IDF, and that far right settlers are persecuting Palestinians and killing them.
• Weren’t there members of the Israeli parliament calling for nuking Gaza, to do the same in the West Bank, etc?
• What about illegal settlements, land grab, numerous human rights violations, etc.

I also want Hamas gone, but don’t think this is the way.

Every sane person just reading the news of what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank can make their own conclusions. If you really value human life no matter the religion, ethnicity or skin colour you can see a clear pattern.
