The real headline should be “CPAC audience cheers Bannon’s Nazi salute”, because they totally did, and it leaves no doubt that CPAC is full of Nazis.
If it were just another black dude who got shot “because he had a gun”, I’d doubt the word of the police about that. But this guy? I’m almost certain he had a gun and made some move that would have raised reasonable suspicion that he was intending to use it. Because those are the sorts of people who when to Jan 6.
No, Aileen Cannon is presiding over the case about retaining secret documents in Florida (and IIRC, she’s already dismissed it and that decision is being appealed). This “conspired to overthrow the government” case is in Washington DC and is presided over by U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is treating it seriously.
I don’t often downvote comments, as I think that often that’s just a censorious way to say “I disagree”. But this comment so obviously adds nothing of value to the conversation, and indeed poisons it with petty grievance. So I feel totally justified in downvoting this comment.

This is great, but I want to see auto-renewal be something you have to opt in to when you sign up for a subscription service. It should never be the automatic default (as it always is everywhere now).
That article says they’re closing for Easter, which is not an uncommon thing in the US-- for example, Costco will also do that. Nothing to do with the boycott, or “looting”.
