  • We lucked out on monday, the talking heads were spreading rumors about 47 flip-flopping on the tariffs, so it didnt free-fall like I expected.

    That’s not what what happened.

A random person with the last name Bloomerberg (on their Twitter profile) paid the $8/month for a blue checkmark

That randomly claimed tarrifs were pushed back 3 months…

And our entire economic system our lives depend on collectively shrugged and said “good enough”. It cause a spike and then even as people sold they were more cautious.

Without that, shit would be a lot worse right now

  • What?

Do you not live in a medium to major size city so that analogy was lost on you?

Hillary was like turning right on red even tho there was a sign that she shouldn’t.

She may have looked and saw it was safe, but because those low level offences go unpunished, stupid people start thinking traffic laws don’t matter.

So they do even dumber shit, without seeing if it was safe. In this analogy it’s blasting straight thru red lights.

Does none of that make any sense to you?

I overestimate people a lot, but I legitimately don’t understand what’s so hard about this

Out of curiosity did you start an American public education after No Child Left Behind removed all critical thinking from the curriculum?

  • Still don’t think he’ll beat the numbers Clinton got in the 90s…

But it’s starting to look like 30+ years of both our only two political options taking a chainsaw to the federal workforce hasn’t exactly been working out …

Neoliberals, including Biden, thought they could give conservatives some of what they want and they’d be happy. Even tho ever single time a Republican gets what they want, they immediately ask for more.

Normalizing their bullshit just allows them to push for crazier bullshit, but they’re so incompetent they’re still not better at destroying what they want as neoliberals
