In many places it will not be prosecuted unless it gains media attention. And most gay men in those kinda of areas don’t want to be out, so don’t even report it. So it’s becoming more common.

Yep, I’ve never had a job that allowed me to take off time for a vacation. Only sick days, things I have to do but can only be done during the day during the week, and emergencies. Taking more than that is highly frowned upon and would cause me to lose any opportunity to move up. I take a week off once a year to get the things done that pile up that aren’t as urgent. Though this past year I ended up getting really sick that week and didn’t even get that opportunity.
They won’t have a choice. That’s what he meant by ending it in a day. He’ll likely agree to allow Russia to use extreme measures on what the US will then officially consider Russian territory without risking retaliation from the US since it will then be Ukraine who is the aggressor on paper if they don’t withdraw and stand down. And the if NATO refuses to acknowledge the new agreement it will just give Trump the excuse to withdraw from it like he keeps threatening.
Because there is no waste storage much less anywhere that could stand for the necessary thousands of years. And waste reprocessing is too costly for it ever to be developed by a for-profit or even non-profit but needs to break even company. It would cost trillions and several decades of no political interference in that money to research, develop, and build the reactors, best case.
So, it just sits in pools waiting for a tornado to spread the contaminated water over a whole state, or an earthquake or fracking tremor to cause a leak into the ground water. If AI is chewing through rods, in a decade there will be a hell of a lot of waste and nowhere to put it, much less anywhere to keep it safe for thousands of years.
To avoid the debt getting too large, let’s stop funding the agency that brings in the most income.

I mean, no surprise. All of his policies last time were for the wealthy. But more importantly, all of the things Elan is planning to cut are going to hurt the poor and they didn’t say they were going to give any of that money to people, just that they were going to cut the deficit. If running the country like a business, you never cut income, even if you cut expenses. Businesses with monopolies keep the profits from reduced expenses, not pass them on to customers, that would be dumb.
