We crossed that bridge back in November 2024. Democracy is already dead. You have hope and that’s great, but it’s like having hope that you’ll get a touchdown and win after the game is already over and fans went home.
The latter is why I feel so hopeless, I guess. I feel like this site and reddit both are just loud angry people with their fists in the air. I appreciate the emotion, but nothing we do here or elsewhere seems to matter. I appreciate the clarification and this helped me better understand your position. As one Strat player to another, I can relate. I have family to care for and all I do every day is think about the most viable ways I can contribute to the cause in improving my children’s future.

But I do disagree with you. If you know your broad human history, you should know that there’s nothing that indicates that we’re guaranteed a solution. You seem to not realize that there very well may not be a good solution at all. You have to be more realistic.

It’s not “tough talk”, I said nothing tough. But there is no willingness to do what it takes, it’s very obvious what it takes, just look at history and see how people defeat fascists, there’s only one way it ever works, and it’s never by voting to the complicit second in power political party.
