What’s funny is the expectation by so many here that a guy “unwaveringly supporting” people mass murdering children for their etnicity would have the Morals to not pardon his own son when he can do it at no cost to himself.

Also, even amongst the “very naive young things”, in my own personal experience, the high intelligent types with the personality to be real believers of far right stuff, are at most above average intelligence but below genius level IQ (which is 120) and hence not really “super high”-IQ (which would more 160+) - I once worked with a guy like that who thought himself very intelligent and in his new job ended up working in an office with two genious level colleagues and he was very entertaining because of his “buttons” were so obvious and he was so easy to give the run around.
Super-high IQ people are often the very opposite of street smart, but one thing they aren’t is stupid and at most fall into the first part of the saying “you can deceive most people some of the time, or some people all of the time, but you can’t deceive most people all of the time” - they can be swindled but they’ll figure it out faster than most.

It makes no sense because most of Twitter’s business is outside the US - even if Trump wins, which would be indicative of of a majority of American voters chosing him (maybe not even that given how the US voting system works), that would still only strengthen Nazi-bar Twitter amongst about 100 million people and do very little about the rest, plus those 100 million not being in average the very educated or afluent probably means that it wouldn’t attract most of the biggest and higher spending advertisers.
In other words, strengthening it’s Nazi-bar nature isn’t exactly a strategically sound thing for a business that tries to cater for a large proportion of the people online all over the World and then make money by selling access to them to advertisers.
Also, as we seen with Truth Social, targetting the MAGA crowd can’t really sustain a big online business even with the endorsment of the MAGA-in-chief.
Just like somebody giving weapons and ammo to the Ku Klux Klan whilst they’re actively using them to kill afro-americans is a fucking extreme racist KKK supporter, so is anybody giving weapons and ammo to a white ethno-Fascist state actively genociding people of another ethnicity because of their ethnicity is a fucking extreme racist ethno-Fascist (the same variant of Fascism as Nazism) supporter.
Unless you’re a fucking racist yourself who judges actions differently depending on the ethnicity of the victims or the perpetrators, those two are equivalent.
So any self-proclaimed anti-Racist liberal supporting Israel with actual weapons and ammo is not only by their own actions the worst, most raciste violent and genocidal kind of Fascist there is - one similar to Nazism, no less - they’re also a massive hypocrite.
So yeah, based on the leaders they vote for Americans are by association the modern Nazi supporters.
The Economy is not booming, it’s only the prices of Assets such as houses that are in a bubble.
Last time around the “wealth” (even if illusory) was spreading a lot more and causing all sorts of things to grow by feeding consumption, as well as a general feeling of prosperity (until it turned out it was illusory and the whole castle of cards fell) whilst this time around it’s pretty much only large asset owners who are actually gaining from this whilst the rest just increasingly feel poorer and more treading water ever harder merelly not to drown.
It’s a different Economic climate and even a different feeling for most people, even if both periods share the house price bubble.

It is, however, on the wrong side of the Economy (at least at the moment) and as I pointed out they distort the Economy itself in negative ways mainly due to how much easier it is for them to leverage their footprint for rent seeking and crowding other investment out.
And don’t get me started on how they use their money to buy the political power in Democracy, corroding it, which also feeds into distortions of the Economy via the Lawmaking process.
The rich merely sitting on their horde would’ve actually been less negative for the rest of Mankind.

Don’t confuse Israelis with all Jews, especially not with the ones that got genocided.
Never forget that actual Holocaust Survivors have been deemed antisemitic by Israelis for comparing some of the actions of Israel with those of the Nazis.
More broadly only a handful of people who were directly affected by the Holocaust still live, of which only a fraction in Israel, none of which are the ones doing this (if only because they’re too old) or in Government. In fact the majority of the families in Israel were never affected by the Holocaust even indirectly because most come from elsewhere than Western Europe, a large fraction of whom from Russia.
There is no such thing as a “Jewish Hive Mind” (or whatever the magical thing that would be necessary for every member of the Jewish Religion to share the actual trauma lived by some) which means that the vast majority of these murdering ethno-Fascist psychopaths have no real relation to the Holocaust other than sharing a religious affiliation with the biggest group of victims of it, a distant and entirely “in paper only” link.
So it’s not at all surprising that people who have never actually experienced the trauma of being victimized in that way but grew up immersed in the kind of racist indoctrination that tells them they’re part of a “chosen people” and hence inherently special themselves, unlike other people, especially the ones being oppressed in their name who they are told are “violent” and even “human animals”, would do such a thing to those other people: in fact the surprise is how long it took the rest of us to discover how much of it they were already doing and discover the true depth of their depravity.
It’s not surprising and kinda dovetails with the point I was making: prejudice kept being cultivated throught the XX and XXI century in a different form, making the field just as fertile for traditional racism as it was making it for the (supposedly) “benevolent” racism fashionable in this era.
Whenever somebody says “ethnicity are victims” and “we should do this special thing for them we do not do for other people”, what’s being passed right besides the supposedly benevolent message is another, far less nice, message: “people of ethnicity are different from other people and should be treated differently from people of other ethnicities”.
It didn’t help that (not just in terms of ethnicity) many with the “right” “ism” went far beyond the (rightful and totally just) fight for Equality Of Treatment and took advantage of the “benevolent” prejudice for Personal Gain whilst hiding behind the group, which indirectly caused discomfort in others who saw it as unfair.
So both the supposedly anti-Racists and the Racists kept the Architecture Of Prejudice going not just in speech but even in action, and it seems to me that Jews are suffering the most from it now because the traditional anti-semites kept being assholes, and now, because of the actions of Israel, many of the people who previously believed the “positive” kind of message about Jews I listed above (which can only be believed by believing the Principles of Prejudice underlying it) flipped from a “positive” predesposition towards the ethnicity to a “negative” predesposition, whilst continuing to believe the foundation of Prejudice - i.e. they turned from being what we were told by poiticians was anti-Racism into traditional Racists.
Not only is there, as you say, so much hate in this World, but the sleazy slimy disgusting manipulation in this domain of the masses for personal gain by politicians and just greedy people hiding behind “the group” that pushed “positive” discrimination, made it immenselly easy to turn favourable opinions of group held by simpletions into unfavourable opinions of group, turning them into people unfairly hating an entire group of people for the hateful actions of a few people in that group, i.e. into traditional racists.
The real opposite of Racism is the thinking that people should only be judged on their actual actions and character and that thinking that a person’s ethnicity (gender, sexual orientation or so on) makes them be in a special group and dictates their character is as moronic as thinking that the color of their eyes or the size of their feet makes them be in a special group and dictates their character.
(This is actually the kind of thinking I’ve had since long before all that’s happenning now and going back to learning from the Dutch their posture when it comes to things like homosexuallity which is pretty much “it’s all normal so I’m not going to judge people for it” - as much as possible I try to apply that to any form of prejudice on things people were born with)
I recognize gallium at least as a dopant material (what transforms the pure sillicon, which is an isolator, in the the n-side or the p-side of a semiconductor junction, where gallium specifically is used in light emitting junctions such as in LEDs) and a quick search showed that antimony is also a dopant.

As you might have noticed, even my short explanation of what a dopant is actually requires people to understand to an advanced level what semiconductors actually are made of, so I can see why an AP article which is targetting the average person wouldn’t go into that specific rabit hole of explaining stuff that requires more stuff to be explained which in turn requires even more stuff to be explained and so on.
Also, I would be surprised if there are more than a handful of journalists in the World with even the most basic understanding of how semi-conductors work.
