I’m a school bus driver and I have one total moron of a coworker who thinks we should all carry guns to protect the buses. He specifically wants to have his AR15 with him, with its magical 40-round mags like that would make the slightest fucking difference after somebody starts off their assault by blasting the driver’s seat. I’ve been pretending I agree with him and encouraging him to suggest this to our (very liberal) school board - since he’s above me on the seniority list.

But it snowed this winter! Once!

I’m a school bus driver and I have a coworker who is an avid climate-change denier. Here is an example of how stupid she is: she needed to borrow my bus for a run and I had it chocked. Since the chock was wedged solid under my front wheel, she decided she needed to use the crowbar to get it loose and tore the fuck out of it (and my front tire) in the process. It never occurred to her to start the bus and back up to free the chock.

She also 1) hates immigrants because they’re unvaccinated and “spread disease”, and 2) is anti-vax. I could never make this shit up in a million years. If you have children, consider that a lot of the people driving them to and from school are exactly this fucking stupid.

Admit it but say it isn’t a big deal, but also deny that it ever happened. Let your followers pick whichever version they prefer. Profit!

The fact that his political opponents are already toothless.

The amazing thing about this is that Americans who travel are on average a lot more open-minded and intelligent than those who don’t. And we still make a terrible impression.

To me, reaction videos are truly astonishing. Like, the number of videos reacting to some thing typically outnumber the thing itself by the hundreds. People prefer watching somebody else watching something so they know how they should feel about it. It’s the modern version of the laugh track.

I’m a school bus driver and my elementary school kids go on about somebody named “Queso” (sp?) on Youtube and I find myself constantly fighting the urge to see what he’s all about. It can’t possibly be good.

I mean, the GOP has long aimed their rhetoric at a fifth-grade reading comprehension level, so in a real sense everything they put out is a children’s book. Trump’s “innovation” was targeting a third-grade reading level.

Using gift cards is OK if you’re boycotting a place, right? I mean, Target already has the money and you’d just be helping them out if you didn’t buy anything with them.

I’m a school bus driver and I always get a lot of tips (Christmas and end of year) in the form of Target gift cards. BTW yes, I agree that tipping school bus drivers is fucking weird. We already get paid and it’s not like we’re going to drive the kids into a tree if we don’t get tipped.

It’s a bit surprising he didn’t have them censor all references to him before releasing the files.

Why even bother? He could rape a baby and then eat it in front of its mother and his supporters would keep supporting him.

The two biggest examples of fascism in history - Mussolini’s Italy and Nazi Germany - went down because they were defeated militarily by a much stronger power, the United States. I suppose you could blame Hitler’s and Mussolini’s stupidity directly for picking a fight with that much stronger power, but if you’re thinking this trend does not bode well for the current fascists, who is the much stronger military power that they’re going to stupidly pick a fight with and be defeated by? Hitler and Mussolini were absolutely never defeated by internal resistance, even in the face of obvious military catastrophe and around-the-clock bombing of civilian populations.
