“They can’t separate their ideology and their politics from supporting their own family and their own loved ones,” says Tobin.
I can’t say I’m surprised at that trait from those that hold these politics in the first place.
I’m not so sure about that.
Just like the Federation in the Star Trek universe had the Prime Directive (rule) that prohibits its members from interfering with the natural development of alien civilization, I can see how time travel could have a similar rule. Going back in time to mess with things can create all kinds of unintentional butterfly effects.
As Gandalf says “Even the very wise cannot see all ends”
Amazing that there are still groups of people looking at these decisions and trying to discern the rationale behind them as if there was any. Mental Olympics at this point.
Yes! I was thinking of linking this also. Thank you
Literally the opposite of what Trump does - gives up everything in order to retain power.
Increasingly I am seeing Musk as the one solution to this problem:
the latter of which many look up to
When I read your whole comment, I feel like you’re ascribing the blame in the wrong place. It’s the “many” who choose to look up to these people, using their standards in place of their own, that I would say is the real issue here. Leo doing this does not normalize dating women for looks for me. Neither does Pharrell Williams buying a cybertruck and riding around in it influence or normalize cybertrucks for me. If people want things based on superficial reasons, they’ll learn that it’s only superficial and doesn’t have substance.
Yes, between Trump and Elon, they’re conducting a self coup.
Make America Shitty Again!
Why does a Department of Efficiency need 2 guys to run it?
This is terrorism.
Wow, I’d never heard of this before! Interesting, thanks.
“Semper Fi guys,” Vance said, seeming to signpost his background as a Marine to get the hecklers to stop.
“Isn’t this a magic incantation that I can invoke anytime to clear me of ill will?”
