Summary

Oklahoma’s Attorney General rejected State Education Superintendent Ryan Walters’ directive requiring schools to show a video announcing a new Department of Religious Freedom and Patriotism.

The video, which includes a prayer for Trump, was sent to schools and parents, but multiple districts have refused to comply.

The AG’s office called the mandate “unenforceable” and a violation of rights.

Walters, known for opposing “woke ideology,” also faces lawsuits over requiring Bible-based lesson plans and purchasing Trump-endorsed Bibles for classrooms, which critics argue breaches church-state separation.

And now it goes to SCOTUS and SCOTUS declares this a Christian country and then all kids will be mandated to pray in school.

America is swirling around the bowl and heading down the pipe fast.

And to be clear, the guy pushing this directive is possibly getting tapped to run the Department of Education. I am so fucking glad I didn’t/won’t have children. Sorry parents who voted against this.

This video is bizarre. There’s a ton of static noise, there’s computer clicking, and it stops before he even finishes the prayer! I thought this was a screen grab with a live mic but then I saw that it was posted by the OK DOE.
