Welcome to the beginning of the American Holodomir.

You likely won’t be able to get tomatoes or strawberries for any price next year.

My vendors & clients all have food rotting in the fields right now.

EDIT: Very telling that the downvoters can’t refute a single thing I stated.

Don’t worry, we’re cutting education and removing child labor laws for that very reason.

Im waiting for the time when “child labor laws” will stand for “laws forcing children to work” in the US.

I’m gonna walk my ass out back and pick some. All this shit was the perfect kick in the ass to get my garden built last month.

Prepare and learn skills people, shits gonna get bad. The more self sufficient you can be, the better. You then use these skills even further to help those around you and build your community.

Kinda the opposite, I believe it was over farming and poor crop rotation that caused it

Also an overuse of fertilizers that changed the pH of the soil, preventing any plants from setting down roots

and removal of windbraking trees and plants that were native to the area.

No, as Stamau123 mentioned, that was poor crop management exacerbated by drought conditions.

Yeah that is what is so fucked. The narrative rapidly went from criminal illegals only and not ‘regular’ illegals, to any undocumented person, and now to anyone who is just an immigrant.

This is what is scaring the shit out of me. As a Canadian, I can visit the US and stay (but not work) for 6 months out of the year legally… but given the situation they might just arrest me st the border or just after crossing for no fucking reason. This is why I am not going in any time soon.

I’m not saying that they’re not lying about their operation being illegal immigrants.

However, when multiple sources are using slightly different language, it makes it vastly confusing.
