Yea, didn’t pan out for Netanyahu, doesn’t change the motive for this rescue though. Israel seems far more interested in killing Palestinians than rescue anyone, they even killed a bunch of hostages instead of rescuing them previously.
The IDF flattened Gaza, I’d be surprised if even 20 hostages are alive at this point. Also even if they gave them back I doubt Israel would stop, this rescue was pretty much done to keep their coalition government together, they haven’t been too interested in getting anyone back outside of that.
The idea that you just have loose ammo in the folds of your bags instead of crumbs is so insane and also so stereotypical of americans. 12 years is a little much but I have less sympathy since the US constantly locks citizens of other countries away for longer for less dangerous offences.
Like around here if you store ammo inappropriately like this will get your gun license yoinked permanently faster than you can blink. Like the dangerous part of owning guns is the ammo, without it guns are just an ineffective club, and ammo can go off without a gun.

It’s nearly impossible to remove people buying something while it’s very easy to stop a company from producing something.
And yet it’s easy to stop the production while it’s nearly impossible to stop the consumption.
That seems to put the carbon produced on the buyer of a product, not the company that produced the item. It mentions electricity as one and its not like you choose how your electricity is generated. Others being land use and food production which again you can’t control because large corporations do that, not individuals.
Ya know what would also limit it: Actually stopping like the top 5 companies causing like 60% of all pollution.
Just stop doing carbon credits because it’s a literal scam and just shut down any factory that pollutes more than an allowed amount until they get it under control.

It was so much worse than I envisioned it to be though. Like one guy seemed to make up literally everything with insane claims that were delivered with confidence only rivaled by how stupid they were and the other sounded like his brain turned to soup if he spoke for more than 5 seconds and when not speaking he looked like a frog seeing a very tasty fly on the wall.
I really hope Europe can get our collective shit together and supply Ukraine once the US shits the bed there.
