It’s innovative because it applies evolutionary pressure by making sure that dumb people falling for such simple scams will be too poor to survive and reproduce /s
This is eerily similar to the disinformation campaigns that ran during Australia’s bushfires. So many people were parroting the lie that somehow the Greens with no majority in government sneakily introduced “green tape” that prevented the firefighters from their usual hazard reduction burns. In reality, firefighters were prevented from doing hazard reduction burns due to the increasingly small window to safely do so due to climate change. The situation was so frustrating that the Rural Fire Service had to specifically address all the “bUt whAt aBouT HaZarD REduCtiOn bUrNs” during a press conference

Broke: carcinisation is evidence that crab bodies are peak performance
Woke: carcinisation is evidence that crab bodies are a noob trap, because no crabs are top tier predators despite being so widespread
Burning fossil fuels and polluting is viewed as masculine, whereas caring about the environment is feminine, in a phenomenon sociologists have coined as Petro-masculinity. Think of those men who roll coal in their lifted trucks towards cyclists in lycra, who they view as “gay”.

Solid TP rolls are quite common in Asia. Not sure if this is still true, but a lot of public toilets don’t provide toilet paper for fear of people stealing them. You have to bring your own TP, at which point including the cardboard insert takes up too much space to carry around.

Why bother filling it with land when you can just find some crusty old map with some dashes on it as evidence that it belongs to you

It could be a symptom of anxiety, specifically time anxiety. Feeling like you “have” to be working on something and relaxing is “wasting” time is a consequence of hustle/grind culture that is linked to broader economic anxiety.
Are you able to meaningfully measure how productive you actually are? Research into productivity has shown that resting properly in moderation is linked to more efficient work output.
Not the worst example for Japanese. The verb kakeru 掛ける is very common and has ~25 different meanings. This is before you count the other verbs also pronounced as kakeru such as 翔ける、賭ける etc
Sike! Many developed nations such as Canada, Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore all provide little to no support for dental. Although the UK does have dental ln the NHS, finding an NHS dentist is very difficult.
Many of the residents in these nations end up engaging in dental tourism to nations such as Poland and Thailand, where a dental travel package that includes round trip international air fare + 5 star hotel + dental work is still cheaper than getting dental work done in their home country.
