No. His debate performance is what pushed it over the edge. That’s when a concerted effort began to get him out.
You see, it’s just a coincidence that he is running against someone who is black and Indian and he just happened to pick the two most racist and stereotypical dishes associated with each.
The main question seems to be why is the birth rate declining. Presumably people not wanting kids have existed during all times. But even if we assume that there are more people per capita who don’t want kids, the question persists, why is that the case, and how much of the decline is attributable to it.

At this point in the calendar, Nixon was 44.6% higher in net job approval. Do you really think that’s analogous?
In 1980, Reagan beat an unpopular incumbent, Carter, by a huge margin. In 1984, Reagan was the incumbent and crushed Walter Mondale. I’m not sure which one is the, “last time we did this” though.
If anything, Reagan shows us that unpopular incumbents do not have a high likelihood of reelection.

To my knowledge the President and vice President haven’t stepped down from a political campaign. However, I can point to a situation in which a vice president took over for an unpopular president and lost. That would be Hubert Humphrey in 1968.
Additionally, just based on logic alone, it is ridiculous to insinuate that it wouldn’t be better to have an unknown candidate than a disliked candidate.
How could it be better to have a candidate that voters do not like, over a candidate that they haven’t come to an opinion on yet?

I still don’t understand why cash bail is necessary. If you grant bail you’re saying that this person is safe to release. Cash bail doesn’t stop recidivism. Without cash bail you still have the option to remand the accused to custody until trial. If showing up is the concern, in serious cases, take passports and use ankle monitors.
There’s simply no need for a system that ruins lives based on economic status, especially in a system that presumes innocence.

Also, how do you not notice $4.5m missing? He must have accountants and money managers. And most questionable, why would your interpreter have the access and ability to transfer millions of dollars?

I can’t say I’m surprised by this, and while I hate Trump, it’s not for the cynical reason. It’s going to be quite the nightmare unwinding those transactions. My understanding is that NY doesn’t have a right of redemption after a Sheriff’s sale. While this is judicious, I would prefer Trump be given no quarter.

Eisenhower was always seen as aloof, sort of a figurehead, during his presidency. However, years after, once his papers were made public, a much different view of Eisenhower started to take shape. He was seen more as a hands-on leader. I believe he was in the 15-20th range in the 80s, but by 2000 was up to 9th, and recently up to 5th (8th in current poll).

Honestly, if you talk to most presidential historians they will tell you that you need about 20 years to pass before you can accurately assess a president. There’s too many unknowns that will come to light only years or decades after a term ends, Eisenhower is a great example of this. So these rankings are likely to change over the years.
Although, having seen Trump’s predilection for fraud, decit, and self-serving, I’d be shocked if he rebounds as more information comes out.
Caps student borrowing. According to the bill’s fact sheet, the bill would cap student-loan borrowing at $50,000 for undergraduate students, $100,000 for graduate students, and $150,000 for students in graduate professional programs.
What four-year school can someone attend for $50,000? That was the yearly cost of attendance when I went to college twenty years ago. Granted, I attended an expensive private university, but I assume most schools have caught up in the past two decades.
Will this bill essentially price out low income kids?
Literally, the point of Chevron was that we cannot expect legislators to be as knowledgeable as the experts working at specific agencies. So allow the agencies leeway to act within the scope of the grant authorized by Congress. If Congress sees an overstep, then they can rein in that authority. I would love to hear a well-reasoned argument on why this should be disturbed.
Although, I know it will be overturned and well-reasoned won’t be part of the decision.
This was filed as a class action, with the class being all Floridians that purchased these. If you’re at all familiar with class action lawsuits, they hugely benefit the lawyers, minimally benefit the named plaintiff, and barely provide anything to the class at large.
So an attorney may take it, assuming the believe they can get the class certified. I don’t do that type of work, so I don’t know too much about it.
Also, contingency cases are possible against large companies based on nuisance value, essentially it’s cheaper to pay you $15k to go away then to litigate for a large company.
You’re talking about a criminal case, what does a month do for you? At every turn, Trump has consistently tried to delay the process. It has nothing to do with the DOJ or AG, they are working the system to intentionally delay everything until now. Why proceed either, he’s going to be president in two months.
