Sounds to me like a perfect recipe to round up and arrest a bunch of traitors to American principles. Was the thought trump would just shut up and quietly go away if we kept biding time or he lost another election. What, if anything, about trumps character would make anyone think that. 100% the government just dropped the ball on this. They won with trump in the opposition and wanted to time it well enough to win again and have him divide and weaken the republicans.

Isn’t it a bit late in the year to be doing this? Like is this because we all know there’s gonna be blackouts in the winter months. Will this be completed in time to prevent that?

How difficult would it be for companies to have staged releases or oversee upgrades themselves? I mostly just use Linux but upgrading itself is a relatively painless processing and logging into remote machines to trigger an update is no harder. Why is this something an independent party should be able to do without end user discretion?
I don’t think vote to obscurity can apply here. Trump will always have a platform because he is a living engagement machine and that drives the Internet mad. He wins he’s the top story, he loses he’s the top story, he gets convicted he’s the top story. The man is immortal in the worst way possible and the world is basically f*cked.
It’s amazing how almost every job not in the government already acknowledges and penalises this as a crime. But because these folks actually instate the rules they have to follow their somehow exempt from the same standards.
