It’s evil and it emboldens sexual criminals. It also is an abuse of power. Did you think more “benefits” were needed for trump?
I doubt it’s trump being smart, but… since the 2016 election, his support from young black men has doubled. That might have something to do with him pardoning Lil Wayne, Kodak Black(pedo rapist pos), and NBA YoungBoy. He probably has some advisors picking people to pardon that will boost his abysmal reputation among certain minorities.
And it gets him the attention and headlines that he so desperately craves.
Discourages police from investigating sex crimes and prosecutors from charging them.
When he pardons Maxwell he hopes it won’t be a big deal because “he pardons everybody”.
He’s petty and wants to pwn the libs.
Criminals stick together. He has to protect his own.
But seriously, this is yet another shit stain on American law and order and I give the GOP Credit for proving judges and courts are useless for the wealthy and powerful and are only designed for us poor folks.
He couldn’t pardon Epstein so he’s pardoning Black Epstein

There is a lot of unpredictability to Trump’s behavior, except just keep this in mind and you’ll never be wrong about him: if it’s fucked up, he prefers to do it immediately. If it’s decent, he’d rather be drawn and quartered than do it. This shit is fucking cartoon villain stuff. What possible non-evil explanation would he have for even considering this? At this point he’s just reveling in his cults’ defense of anything he does, no matter how heinous. The Epstein files not getting released is no problem for Republicans and neither will this pardon be.
