Prostate exams actually aren’t recommended for most people anymore. It turns out they weren’t great at catching prostate cancer anyways. Now they only recomend them if you actually have a family history of prostate cancer or other risk factors.

For those wondering the “LGBTQ+ services or policies” apears to be just refering to gender affirming care. Why they chose to phrase it like that in the headline I don’t know. They also very briefly mention STD prevention/testing and fertility treatments but neither of those are really issues specific queer folks.

Doctors wont do it which makes dosing tricky. More importantly drug companies won’t sell them the drugs because they don’t want their product to be associated with people being killed.

There are no accidental discharges. Only negligent discharges. If your gun goes off then you are 100% responsible no mater the circumstances that caused it to do so.

Literally every state except for texas. The longest power outage I’ve ever personally seen in my entire life was less than 10 hours and that one only affected a couple city blocks. Most power outages in my area last less than a minute because thats all the time it takes to automatically reroute power around the damaged sections. In any reasonably designed grid large scale power outages that last more than a few moments just don’t happen.

Slight pinch? Brother don’t sugar coat it. It feels like getting kicked in the sack by a mule. But it’s only for a moment and its still 100% worth it.

For me, my vasectomy was probably the single most miserable medical procedure I’ve ever had performed, but the recovery wasn’t bad at all and I would still get it done in a heartbeat.

They last even longer if the water is cold. In the winter people have been brought back after spending several hours dead under the ice after falling through and drowning. I think the record for someone who made a full recovery is 17 hours.

There’s a saying in EMS, “They’re not dead until they’re warm and dead.”

And your friend would have killed you. A drowning person isn’t thinking rationally. They will grab you and hold you under the water with all of their adrenaline fueled strength to try to stay above the water. If someone is drowning you never get in the water with them unless you are specifically trained for that and even then it is a last resort. Drowning is one of those situations where if you just run in and try to help without thinking then the ambulance just winds up hauling away two corpses.

What you should be doing is finding anything that floats and throwing it to them or finding something long that they can grab onto so you can pull them to shore. For example tie a couple towels together to make a rope or dump out a cooler and throw it in for them to grab.
