Tesla stock is worth more than most other car companies combined. Musk’s genius is knowing how to pump stock. The company would do much better without Musk, but the stock would tank. No one else is willing to lie, cheat and sacrifice safety like Musk to keep the stock high.

Protests like these are often what politicians’ lives are built on. These students will be seen on the right side of history, and to have the conviction to be jailed for it? That would get my vote.
Israel expends a tremendous amount of energy influencing American universities, media and politics. These protests are very frightening to him.
I’m more basing it on the huge, coordinated reaction against and mischaracterization of the protests. I’m assuming it is backed by AIPAC pressure. Even Biden felt like he had to respond. AIPAC has done everything possible to thwart BDE actions by university students. The current climate is the most promising I’ve seen in a long time.
I don’t think the protests will stop the war immediately, but they are setting up a foundation for a strong political base. If the protestors and media outlets start using the word genocide, I think it will be a good sign the pressure is working. Biden can’t ignore this forever, he knows he’s politically vulnerable.

There was the question of why Vance would work for someone he had called Hitler. His public statements are they here was convinced after Trump’s first term that Trump was a good president.
In fact, there are private texts stating that Vance believed Trump’s presidency was a failure. This was new information. It made it clear that he wasn’t convinced by Trump’s presidency.
