        This kind of censorship makes browsing the web with a screenreader way harder than it needs to be.
        Lately I’ve been working on adding ARIA functionality a lot of websites and thus used screenreaders to check if everything is in order. Adding asterisks in a word switches the TTS mode from reading to spelling in a lot of instances.

      Doesn’t some instance of community have a rule about not allowing any insults that refer to intelligence

    I’d rather say “wilfully ignorant” or “intellectually lazy” and antisocial. IME, the vast majority of people are intellectually competent and developmentally regular enough to be prosocial and moral, they just don’t care nor do they find it disgusting and appalling that they don’t care.

    It is my firm opinion that all people are inherently stupid. We’re just apes that evolved to live in simple ape societies, but we somehow ended up living in insanely complex societies that are all interconnected with each other. It’s just too much for our ape brains to keep up with everything.

      That is silly. There are absolutely brilliant people in among humanity, like gold dust sprinkled amidst sand.
