Worm eating the powdered bones of a dead animal: Am I a joke to you?
I’ve always thought it was a very modern horror story how sweets for children are made from gelatin, from animal death, basically.
I still eat them though.

But… there’s no gelatin in bones. Doesn’t it come from the tendons and stuff next to the bones?
But worms don’t have tendons. OP, can you please update the meme?
From a brief look up, it appears to be derived from collagen which is acquired from mostly skin and bones, of mostly cows and pigs.
After a wee bit of reading, bones are indeed one of the major sources. They just dissolve the calcium with acid and then can boil the collagen away. What clever little buggers.
