When I was a kid, I thought this line was a joke
I don’t have kids, but if I did, I sure as fuck wouldn’t raise them to join the military. I saw though that shit after 9/11.
The real joke is the folks reaction
What about Iranian children? Furthermore, would you guys (who by the way elected that thing as your president) trade the fate of your children for theirs?
I will never understand people who not only actively support the military and soldiers, but want to become a soldier by their own free will…
Cause some people are psychos. Like I understand if a poor kid has no other means to get out of their situation and thus joins the army. But there are many middle class families with several generations of high ranking service members. These people are just straight up psycho, they have all the inside knowledge of what the military actually does and they still force their kids to join the military academy.
People are heavily propagandized to from a very young age. For example, GI Joe. Hundreds of other examples as well. They want to shape kids that think of the military as good and benevolent.
IME, unless it’s for papers and whatnot, it’s usually because your brain doesn’t work so you have no options outside of it (and your brain is so atrophied that morality is not considered either).
Saving this for later. So many fucking boot lickers loooove our country but will never have to worry about being drafted to fight ANOTHER pointless fucking war
Losers and suckers, according to commander bonespurs. Why not abuse if you have them?
Me not having kids and ending my family line with me:

The lower class always suffers the most during a war. The MAGA fucks are visiting their private doctors to get a bone spurs excuse.
When the rich wage war it’s the poor who die.
It has been the rich versus EVERYONE ELSE since time immemorial…. Even the fucking Pharaos back in Egypt
Yes but everybody will say to them “thank you for your service”. Fucking killers for hire.
I don’t know if that will be true for much longer. I think people’s attitudes on american military worship might be beginning to change, starting yesterday. I’m already seeing a boatload of it.
“Why don’t princes fight in the wars? Why do they always send the poor?”
