I know, finished the story again a few days ago
Its been a long time since I finished the story, I mostly played multiplayer
I remember that being the one where you can headshot someone and their head explodes with a spurt of blood and their arms reach up and flail around briefly before they die… Wonder why they didn’t keep that around with the later sequels? Oh and finding the double ended purple dildo in the police station…
If you really wanted to have a good time, you could screen-shot everything as is and make that the desktop, then put all the real shortcuts into a folder on the desktop anywhere and watch the fun ensue

Instead of fixing the symptom, maybe you could address the underlying problem of all that clutter on the desktop. ….or pin it somewhere it won’t be encroached by new files
All of those files look very important and need to stay where they are…
It’s pinned to the taskbar. If my own father is anything to go by, trying to clean up their desktop is a futile and temporary effort.

Right click desktop, create new, folder: Junk
Drag drop everything but that chrome icon into Junk.
