I always called the “tuning pegs” tuners or tuning keys and “position markers” fret markers…but there’s no running from sound hole
Don’t check out the violin family… They don’t have sound holes, they have F- holes.
Hollow and semi hollow body electric guitars do as well.

I had to look it up to believe it. It actually is called a sound hole.
In a violin it’s called an F hole.
