I don’t get it. Random holes show up and turn people into monsters?
You do get it. Also, there’s not monsters, just, uh, extruded humans coming out the other side.

People-shaped holes appear in the face of the mountain and people are psychologically drawn toward specific holes that match their own silhouette. The victims are unable to retreat once they’re in a hole, and progressing forward disfigures them.
Well, that’s horrifying. I like it
