Even if this shooter is identified as a hardcore deep red republican they will still blame democrats, immigrants, and LGBTQ+

It’s what they claimed about the Trump shooter, and the guy who assassinated the officials in Minnesota. Definitely a pattern that they’re not going to deviate from.

We all know it was a blue-haired trans brown Mexican dog-eater from Haiti who couldn’t hold a gun to save their life. Who else could’ve done it?

I noticed a meme channel on a discord exploding yesterday and looked inside to see a bunch of the same kiddos brainwashed by Kirk claiming the ‘left has a monopoly on violence’ and ‘all Charlie wanted was to teach people’ with zero sense of irony and refusal to accept actual quotes and videos of him very much doing the opposite.

I agree with this as well, I still have the app IFunny and since the incident yesterday all the memes posted and all the hourly features are just quotes of Charlie about the left and trans etc and all the comments are from people who support him and want violence.

They’d rather mangle & twist their headlines into pretzels to avoid even the appearance of something that might possibly offend Herr SHitler.

Conspiracy is that Trump had him killed so he can ramp up his military dictatorship.

Also they say that the video of Trump is AI amd was posted before it was even announced Kirk was dead.

The the fact high-powered rifle at long distance. Yeah I can almost buy into it.

I don’t want to yuck your yums, since it’s sort of a subjective call, but I wouldn’t necessarily call 200 meters a “long distance” shot. It’s not close range, but hitting a mostly stationary human sized target at that distance is, if not “easy”, certainly achievable with a minimal amount of firearms experience. I think this holds true even without the assistance of scopes or other optics. For reference, basic rifle marksmanship qualification for the armed forces has you taking on targets out to 300 meters with iron sights, and, despite never firing a weapon prior to basic training, I was able to consistently hit the 200 meter targets (though beyond that range was a coin flip)

Furthermore, calling the weapon a high-powered rifle is, to some extent, redundant. Again, it’s subjective, but pretty much any firearm which fires rifle caliber ammunition is going to be by default “high-powered”, unless it’s .22LR. That’s the only rifle cartridge I can think of that is commonly available that would not qualify as “high-powered” by a reasonable definition.

The only reason I bring up this little bit of pedantry is because, as you mentioned in your post, calling it a “long distance shot with a high powered rifle” leads the listener towards certain conclusions that are not well-founded at this juncture. It’s not inaccurate or untruthful, but I do think it leaves out relevant context.

If it were a conspiracy they would have had a “leftist” patsy lined-up.

Did the patsy change their mind about being caught?

Don’t know, sure they will have a scapegoat soon. If the bullet cases they found have what say written on them. Then I will know 100% a setup.

Duh no shit, of course. This was always going to happen, they were always going to blame the left because that is the playbook for EVERYTHING.

It’s the political rhetoric on both sides of that are driving people to extreme actions. The news is just feeding everyone’s fears and social media is helping.

Just look at Reddit and Lemmy celebrating the death of a person. Mainly due to his political views. I keep seeing people post what he stated about the 2nd amendment and some deaths will occur. Even after this incident, I would wager he still believes in 2nd amendment.

The person committing the act of violence with an instrument (gun, knife, etc) is the problem. You don’t blame a drunk drivers vehicle for the deadly accident. You blame the person who was irresponsible and knowingly committed a crime.
