Cancer is an umbrella term for a huge variety of diseases and once you reach a certain age you’re likely to have at least one of them. It’s just not worth treating if you are in your 80s/90s.

I think that’s not the point being made here. The point is that some people might prefer a calm, quiet life for their last years instead of having to deal with the stress of being president of one of the biggest countries on earth.

the form is still hormone sensitive so its treatable, to an extent, obvious with metasis is lower, but prostate usually have good prognosis, but that depends other factors.
much like breast cancers that are hormone sensitive, they are treatable, the ones that triple negative or the rare IBC those are very aggressive and they are not affected by anti-hormone therapy.
