This is what Mission BBQ is like, but add in the guilt trip to buy a $3 plastic drink cup “for the troops”. And the barbecue is not good. It’s not inedible or anything, it’s just that everything (including the sides) is loaded with sugar.
I feel bad for people that don’t have access to good Barbecue.
As someone who lives in 1 of those areas and visited Texas once 3 years ago I agree… I never had bbq ever like that before. Thats all we did for 3 days straight, bbq, brewery, bbq, brewery, concert festival at night. Best trip I had in a long time.

There haven’t been a ton of bright spots moving back here to the south, but plenty of good bbq places is one of them.
And the pickles are the only thing worth eating.
There’s a bandannas bbq in town and I can get at least twice that amount of food for only $49.99
